About

An operator first. The consulting comes second.

Pete Gawkowski is a Muskegon, Michigan operator. This practice exists because of what his own work needed — not the other way around.

The background

Pete has spent his career in operations: multi-unit retail, a youth sports training facility, and a nonprofit summer baseball club. Schedules, sponsorships, property decisions, pricing questions — the unglamorous work that decides whether a local organization makes money or loses it quietly.

Running those operations meant building systems: for raising sponsorship money without losing track of a single ask, for keeping a business’s public information accurate, for testing whether a property was worth its asking price before anyone signed anything. The systems worked. Other local businesses and nonprofits started needing the same things. That is what this practice is.

How the work gets done

Every product here was built for Pete’s own operations first and offered to others only after it worked at home. Research and production use modern tools — that is what makes a $49 property evaluation or a $495 pipeline system possible at all. But nothing goes out the door unchecked — Pete reviews every report and every system himself, checks the numbers, and stands behind the work.

The principle

Sell finished systems and straight answers — not hours. Flat fees, quoted in writing before work starts. Deliverables in tools you already use. No subscriptions, no retainers, no open-ended engagements. If the numbers say something you would rather not hear, you hear them anyway, with the math attached.
